The City’s 2030 Strategic Plan will be developed in 2019 as a guide for driving future improvements to the City. The 10-year plan will build on the foundation laid by reports from the Mayor’s Strategic Opportunities Advisory Team in 2018. The final plan will be used to guide budgeting, set priorities for City government, and assign actions to specific City departments.

The next phase of plan development offers an opportunity for active public engagement through a series of community events held across the City during the month of January. The events will feature large and small group discussions, information gathering, activities and light refreshments. An online survey, and comment options will also be developed.

“To produce a meaningful long-range plan, the whole community must be engaged in the process. I want everyone to have a voice as we proceed to develop this 10-year plan.” - Mayor Michael O’Connor

Engagement events are scheduled at different times and locations so everyone might find a time and place that is convenient to participate. An RSVP is not required, but if you know which meeting you plan to attend, please let us know, to help us prepare adequate supplies. RSVP here.
