The Online Sales and Technology Grant Program aims to help small businesses located in Frederick County do business in an increasingly digital economy. The program is funded with $221,546 in federal American Recovery Act funds designated by the Maryland Department of Commerce.

The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce recently wrapped up S.H.E. Week 2021 — a week-long program focused on empowering and developing women through education, networking, mentoring and partnerships. New this year, the line-up of events included a SHE Pitch competition designed for women-owned businesses in both the “idea” and “growth” stages, and complete with cash prizes. Tax Relief May Be Available For Property Owners Impacted By Hurricane Ida
The Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT) is encouraging residents and businesses whose property has been damaged by the effects of Hurricane Ida to contact the Department, as they may qualify to have their property assessments reduced. Maryland residents can fill out this form and email it to their local SDAT assessment office.
