MD180 Corridor Improvements
The City, the SHA, Frederick County and AstraZeneca have partnered to improve the MD180 Corridor. The investment will facilitate safer pedestrian & vehicular transportation, provide alternative routes across a more dispersed grid, and support more efficient movement of people & goods through an important economic corridor.
Project Work Includes:
Construction of a new bridge over US15/340 to accommodate two lanes of eastbound traffic & reconfiguration of existing bridge for two westbound travel lanes
Intersection improvements at Solarex Court and Butterfly Lane
Installation of bike lanes and ADA compliant sidewalks
