Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Inc. (FITCI) is thrilled to announce its new innovation center, Maryland’s EDGE at 321. Years in the making, the facility at 321 Ballenger Center Drive is designed to meet the unique needs of science and technology startups while nourishing community connections beyond any one sector.
Founded in 1990 as a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, the Downtown Frederick Partnership has managed downtown Frederick’s Main Street program for over twenty years.

Operating since 2010, East Frederick Rising is a nonprofit dedicated championing for the well-being and vitality of residents, businesses and organizations invested in the current and future success of the east side of The City of Frederick. The conference theme explored Maryland’s competitive assets while analyzing strategies crucial for the state’s future success. The City of Frederick recently cut the ribbon celebrating a collaboration with Blink Charging for the installation of 20 new IQ 200 chargers across four downtown parking garages.
The new initiative will help accommodate both residents & visitors with electric vehicles by providing convenient charging options during downtown visits. The infrastructure improvement also strategically supports the City’s sustainability goals.
