For nearly two decades, the Frederick County Best Places to Work Awards have recognized the businesses and organizations that make our community so special. From offering exceptional benefits, to accommodating family needs, to providing fun perks for employees, these employers stand out from the rest for the workplace environment they provide.

This year, Frederick County Best Places to Work’s Special Award Category asked: “Who’s Having Fun!?!” Congratulations to this year's winning workplaces that are demonstrating outstanding creativity and a strong commitment to keeping their employees smiling.

When selecting Frederick County’s Best Places to Work, nominations are scored based on the employers' work-life balance, median salary, turnover rate, benefits, diversity, and professional growth opportunities. This year, two City businesses -  Immersion Active  and FoodPRO - received top honors in their respective categories. 

As the Selection Committee read through the nominations for the 2018 Frederick County Best Places to Work Awards - a theme emerged regarding local businesses' commitment to family. Watch the video which reflects upon these companies that recognize “Family Matters.”
