The Frederick County Office of Economic Development has partnered with Hood College and Mount St. Mary’s University to offer a four month Minority Business Executive Development Program to enhance and provide new skills in: Business Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Promotion and Advertising, Organizational Leadership and Organizational Management. 

Maryland’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides support to local entrepreneurs and small businesses. In addition to providing free individual consultation, the organization hosts comprehensive training programs — for those just thinking about starting a business to executive training — with most classes at low to no cost.
